5 Easy Steps for Applying Your Ms. Mink False Eyelashes
Note: If you’re going to wear makeup i.e. eye shadow, you may want to apply your makeup before applying the eyelashes.
Step 1. Prep your natural lashes for the application of false eyelashes: Curl your natural lashes and brush a light coat of mascara, so that your natural lashes may support the weight of your false eyelashes.
Step 2. Slide the tray of Ms. Mink Lashes out of the protective storage case. Hold the lash tray with ends of the false lash you’re removing facing towards you. Slowly rotate the tray in the opposite direction, while you begin to lift the ends of your mink lashes with tweezers, and gently peel to remove the eyelashes from the tray.
Step 3. Place your mink lash against your lash line to measure for the suitable length. If necessary, you may need to trim the eyelashes for the perfect fit. Note: Do not measure from the very start of the inner corner, because you may experience a slight discomfort with longer lash styles, that can rub against your inner eye.
Optional For Easier Application: Us at Ms. Mink Lashes wouldn’t recommend cutting mink lashes down the center, but there some individuals that will use this step to easily apply false eyelashes. Step 3 b (Optional): Cut the lash band down the center, it’ll make it easier to apply false eyelashes in pieces along your lash line, than in a full lash strip.
Step 4. After, successfully fitting your mink false eyelashes to your eye, you should hold the lash, with the band facing downward and add glue along the band of your false eyelash. Allow the glue to set for a couple of seconds, and become a bit tacky.
Step 5. Starting with the center of your eye, place the false eyelash band on your eyelid, as close to the natural lash line as possible, and gently apply pressure. Use the tweezers to drag/ pull the ends of your lashes into place, and apply gentle pressure to help the false eyelash adhere to your natural lashes
Tip: When you’re placing the false lash near the inner part of your eye, you should avoid placing it too close to the tear duct for comfort reasons, and to give a bit more width to your eyes.
*If necessary, apply a dark eye shadow and/ or eyeliner along your lash line to complete the look and make your false mink eyelashes blend more naturally with your eyelashes.
